About the role 😎

If you’re tired of working in a traditional firm and looking for a change this role is for you. Utilizing your experience and knowledge, you will complete accounting deliverables in the fast-paced start-up ecosystem. While you might think this is just another accounting technician job, it is not!

As an onboarding specialist you play a critical role in the growth of the business and improving our processes. By being the initial point of contact and onboarding new clients onto our app you craft the initial impression clients will have of our services.

As a senior onboarding specialist, you will prepare financial statements, compilation files, onboard new clients into our app, and complete tax returns (T2, CO-17 & T5013). You will also have the opportunity to collaborate and contribute to various internal projects (product development, research, methodology, etc.) that will help the development of our app and systems.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Technical Diploma in Accounting & Management
• Has 3 years of accounting and taxation experience
• Masters the accounting and taxation notions (of corporations)
• Masters Excel & Word
• Has an interest in innovative technologies
• Is thorough, methodical, resourceful and has an eye for detail.
